WHAT THIS MOVEMENT STANDS FOR — AND WHAT IT DOESN'T
WHAT THIS MOVEMENT STANDS FOR — AND WHAT IT DOESN'T
A movement for justice, wellness, and systemic office reform
Not a blame game against individuals or companies
A people-powered consultative process that includes professionals, their families, employers, health experts, and policymakers
Not a rigid, top-down checklist imposed without listening
A political promise to embed workplace wellbeing into Kerala’s and India’s growth vision
Not a fleeting wellness fad or or quick-fix activity
A sustained campaign to recognition that workplace suffering is a public health crisis
A private
office matter
IT IS
IT IS NOT
THIS IS HOW THE
CAMPAIGN WILL WORK
We are bringing the power of politics to the pain of professionals. This is a participatory process. We’re not imposing answers — we’re building them together.

WE WILL LISTEN
Host district-level listening circles in Kerala, with professionals, mental health experts, employers, families, and local leaders.

FRAME & REFINE GUIDELINES
Build & Present a rights-based, inclusive, practical Office Wellness Guidelines. Refine and strengthen the guidelines through collective intelligence.

EARLY ADOPTION DRIVE
Partner with forward-thinking employers to pilot office wellness models.

BUILD A MOVEMENT
Keep moving forward, offline and online, to shift the cultural mindset about work and wellness, until the Office Wellness Guidelines are enforced.

OFFICE UNWELLNESS -
A PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS
Burnout, Broken Families, Untimely deaths. Office unwellness is not just about stress, it’s not a personal issue. it’s a public health crisis. Last year, India lost a young woman, Anna Sebastian, to the crushing weight of workplace stress. She was not the first, and heartbreakingly, she may not be the last. Across the country, professionals like Anna are suffering in silence. Offices meant for growth have become sites of burnout and unwellness.
As it always has in times of crisis, the Congress Party, with the All India Professionals’ Congress, is stepping up. Together, we are taking action to defend every professional’s right to dignity, balance, and wellbeing at work.

AIPC’S COMMITTMENT TO BRING THE
OFFICE WELLNESS GUIDLINES
On Sep 21, 2024, the Hon. Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhiji had a video conversation with the parents of Ms. Anna Sebastian. He had promised the parents of Ms. Anna that we will take this issue very seriously and ensure better work conditions for all working professionals in Anna's memory.
In keeping with that promise, the All India Professionals Congress is launching a “For Anna, For All” campaign. This will be a sustained people- powered campaign to draft guidelines for better and healthier office conditions for all professionals in Kerala, as a commitment by the Indian National Congress. We will include everyone's voice - professionals, their parents, employers and experts
